My, My, what a temper.....I've been an expert in fluid dynamics for over 20 years; air is fluid so it's within my scope of education. I still believe your temps are off, irregardless of what the thermostat on the wall says. I have two case fans that move 280CFM and 8 thermal sensors inside the case ...

It would depend on the chip; it seems that some of them are cut when they are not really done so and others seem connected when they are not......I'm still looking for a chart that shows the the various cuts for the different speeds.

2> 80mm fans don't pull enough air to do adequate cooling even with two of them to exhaust; you need 30x a minute air exchange rate inside the case to keep it at ambient temps....You need to test your probes to be sure they are calibrated correctly.....

Dual 120mm fans mounted on the side panel directly over the AGP/PCI bus will give you all the flow you need if you have a sufficiently-sized blowhole to exhaust the the air......
