or you look for a board of same build, start it into DOS, pop out the bios-chip, flip in the
damaged one and flash it - works with most award-based boards with bios-chip on socket.

Greetings, got some problems with that Yamaha 2100S, burns well, no probs there, but when trying to verify the disk (with 'nero burning rom') i always get an error message. try Dremel

I used a miniature drilling machine (like Dremel - are these available in the US? I don't know, but something alike will be, i'm sure). Equiped with a diamond-coated cutting wheel it took me about 2 hours to finish the cutting. Pictures tell more than word, have a look http://m-richter.purespace.de/...
