I just checked ASUS: they no longer sell a Slot A board, tho you might find one in someones inventory. Tho my mind tells me they must exist, I haven't seen anybody around here carry one for a year or two. There were too many problems with the CPU not sitting perfectly... intel too. Thus they gave up...

RDRAM is what Intel came out with 2-3 years ago. It is often clocked at .... 800mhz? That's the name they gave it in the couple of Dells we got with it. It was VERY expensive, more so than ECC SDRAM used in many servers, and did not deliver the system speed increase it alleged to ( tho it helped ) s...

I hate using the words, but in my mind I repeatedly come up with a phrase for what the US has done forever, especia...

Rasa Frasa. OK. I'll read the article and all the links mannana. :) my impression was that you had to have physical access to the unit, but running DEBUG requires only a DOS prompt. I already have it on my list for Sat, but just found out the SoCal 'server' which was supposed to be upgraded to W2K t...

The supposed reasoning for the sept. 11 terrorists attacks were because we support Israel and have military bases on "Holy land". Right? Well, this isn't popular at all but IMSHO the US government has broken so many treaties we ( as the people who elected them ) should be strung up. I'm n...

Both sides claim they MUST have ... Jerusulem? It is 'holy' land. One or both sides won't share the city. Israel, as pointed out above, is legal. They were a 'spoil' of war, WWII I think. They are legal, much as we are a legal country. Recognized by all, even those who hate them. Simple logic says i...

It wasn't really an issue until the Athlon 1.4 Gig CPUs hit the scene. Then we needed really good cooling... the first two we tried were audibly noisy. Of course every client said 'this will not do'... they all work in office type environments, so we had to search for something that worked but wasn'...
