Awesome. That was exactly what I was trying to figure out. Got everything working perfectly now. Thank you.
So. Apparently the black jack is the rear channel and the yellow jack is the center channel (from the speakers).

That's the way I had it before, and now too for that matter. But I'm only getting sound from the front 2 speakers and sub, nothing on the center or rear channels. But, from what I understand it's up to 7.1 capable. Here's a link to some info.

allright the mobo was just installed all goofy so the vid card doesnt fit well but its werkin now, there might be problems installing windows.....but im not sure yet, thanks for your help thus far

Alright heres the situation, i bought a new mobo, cpu, and hdd and had the local computer store install it all but not windows :-\ Now ive got a win98se disk and startup disk.
