I've seen that happen recently with some of my clients POS systems. They login as admin users but will not have access to certain files (to modify). Resetting UAC fixes the issue. Ran the usual to make sure nothing was on the systems. Nothing found.

Isn't cleanup more of an installer responsibility than the OS itself?

Interesting (and kinda sad) I wonder if only the USN will have access to the updates. Also, does it include patches to IE8?

Haven't bought any hardware yet, so I'm open. The only thing I have are the 4 monitors (all standard VGA connectors). This will be replacing an old system with an AGP NVidia Quadro card that was running the 4 monitors.

Any recommendations for a card that can run 4 19" monitors as 1 desktop. There will be NO gaming on this system.

I remotely clean systems with a decent success rate fairly regularly. I use PCDuo remote control. It's a paid app, we sell it with our software suite.
