I tend to buy bottom-end hardware because I never seem to have the cash for top of the line stuff. I'll run my xp2500 as long as it'll go, and my radeon 9000 is still okay for me. As far as 64bit goes, I can't see myself changing hardware setups to accomodate it unless something happens (breaks) and...

It's funny how a mod can sell so many copies of a game (counter strike.)

They ought to put these modders on commission or something. Sure would pay for their hosting bill... at least.

A couple of months ago I decided to clean up my keyboard and found something similar (although not quite as bad :P ) as yours... I tossed it and bought another. The pics of yours is bringing back bad memories of mine now :P

That looks very cool. I think I'm in the same boat as MegaVectra right now. I might have to buy myself a copy of this game now.

ohhh, just noticed they've got a version for ut2k3 too. I'm gonna have to give that a spin tonight :D

b-man1, you're not the only one. I've only had one harddrive fail (although it failed, then so did the replacement). However, I tend to swap out old disks before they can die on me. I'm in the process of wanting to consolidate my hdd space right now actually. I've got a 120, 80 and a 20. I wanna rep...

The thing about newegg is that they don't ship to Canada. I've still gotta search around on Directron's site to see if they do. And about the antecs, you're right. That's what I've been narrowing down the search to. Guess this should have been a "help sandeep find a case without a power supply&...

UberNeuman, yeah, its not a huge deal but it just always hit me as something that ought to be, that wasn't. But I suppose you guys are right in that I wasn't looking in the right places. Thanks for the tip and the link. I guess it's just motivation to build ANOTHER computer with the extra power supp...

Why does it seem so hard to buy a case without a PSU?

I don't know if I'd classify this as a rant, but it's something that has always bugged me. The fact that it is a lot harder to find a nice case, without a power supply. I know I'm paying an extra 20 or 30 or more dollars for a power supply I'm not going to use. I have a pretty nice power supply righ...

Gillbot, right now the CPU and samsung ram are pending sale, so I'll have to get back to you if any of it falls through (looks like the CPU is as good as gone though).

I'll shoot you a PM when I get confirmation of the sale (or not sale ;) )

Thanks for looking.

FS: OCZ & Samsung RAM [edit]

[edit - june 4] The CPU has been sold, the 2 sets of memory still remain though [ edit] Hey guys, I've been doing some upgrading/replacing dead hardware and I've come up with a bit of extra stuff I'd like to unload. I realize I'm pretty fresh around here, so I'd be happy to ship first (as long as yo...

smb, I think you've got it right on that one. Have a look at this link, http://www.xboxaddict.com/news/view.php?News_ID=4731 It only makes sense for Microsoft to head into the Media PC market with their next game console, and with their name as trusted as it is with PCs (compared to their name on a ...

The_Frapster, I've heard about some companies doing that. Thanks for the tip.

From my experience, this place has been pretty decent about selling legit stuff, but I'll still check it out.

haha, no worries about telling the truth fellas. I respect an honest opinion as much as the next guy. Actually, I appreciate it. Good to know what I have before I try selling it. The biggest reason I bought it was because it was on sale. That, and I don't know too much about memory, so mark that one...

Need some advice on RAM... before this sale ends :D

Hey guys, I've been deliberating on my current memory setup. Right now I've got a 2500 barton running in a Soltek 75FRNL2. I have a couple of these in there right now, [LINK] . I paid about $210 CAD after tax for these, and they're fine. But the thing is, when I bought them I was thinking about over...
