Fixed it! :D I put the Ultra100 in a different PCI slot, made the HD on the Ultra100 the primary master and everything works as it should. Well I solved my shutdown problem and it had nothing to do with my ram. I unplugged a USB mouse and the computer shuts down correctly. :D Why it worked when my ram settings were lower is beyond me??? Raymond, where are you getting your temp readings? From the bios? That is the reading I would trust. Software temp monitors are not always correct as I found out with Asus probe. I don't think your temps will hurt your CPU. I ran at 50C for quite sometime before installing an Alpha Pal35 on my P3 70...
