Slightly off topic but not, My new eVGA 6600GT AGP runs at about 130F (measured with a lazer light temp gun) with default clock speeds and stock heatsink/fan. Can I run my OS and games off 2 SATA harddrives in Raid 0, AND still use my ATA-100 200gig HD as storage? And if so, whats the procedure to install them?

I turned off "Write combining", then turned it back on the next day and reboot. I havent had any trouble yet! Possable soulution?

I tried both the oldest nvidia drivers and the newest and that didnt solve the problem.

But as far turning off "write combining" it hasnt allowed the graphix to screw up. Theres a few pauses here and there, but much better so far.... I see a decrease in performance though.

sounds kinda dumb, but did you put thermal paste on the cpu or dusty cpu heatsink? i get a similar problem, comp wont boot and no video or beeps. i usually give it a good cleaning (vaccume dust otta the heatsink and add or check the thermal paste) then it usually works good again for awhile..... str...

Would "Write Combining" turned off, help at all? ....I'm trying it now.

Im currently trying the omega drivers. (Omega 1.6177). Ive already tried the most recent drivers and every other Geforce driver within the past year.

I can't really remember what drivers I used about a year ago. I havn't tried any drivers that old though. Got a link to older nvidia drivers?

Im planning on buying a new board and proc this fall. I want that new 64 bit technology with the nice 1600mhz Fsb. but i think it might be a good idea to roll with that new pci express technology also. I know intel make those boards, but i havnt seen any AMD Boards yet. Anyone seen any or know anyth...
