I guess the latest Mandrake or SuSE 9.2 would be quite n00b-friendly. Now even SuSE offers a freely downloadable ISO image (which only excludes some commercial apps). http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3 http://www.novell.com/products/linuxprofessional/downloads/ftp/eval.html ... you can choose ...

First look of Antecs upcoming P180 case

Antec showed their upcoming cases during (but not on) CES in Las Vegas including the Sonata II and the new P180. The P180 looks very interesting, it has a minimalistic approach on the outside and all 120mm fancooling in the inside plus a seperate PSU tunnel on the bottom. The main target is to creat...

It is Enermax variation of that barebone case, they only added different front comapared to other manufacturers who used that windtunnel barebone. There's also the Silverstone Temjin TJ06 PC, which comes with fans and without PSU and has a different front but the inner parts are the same. There's a ...

First check which codec is used while playing those AVIs, Xvid can be set to play other FourCC (DIVX, DX50) and Divx is set by default to decode other mpeg4. Uninstall Divx and see if xvid can handle those files better ... and if not try the othe...
