mobile 2400+ is great, problem with ram though
*Nevermind, figured out the problem. I didn't do one of the most obvious things to do when ram isn't working correctly. Moving it from the first to the third slot fixed the problem.* Once I read up on the new mobile cpu's I just new it was time to upgrade :) Haven't been keeping updated with what's ...

What's up with my Enermax 430W PSU ??
Is my Enermax 430W PSU crapping out on me ? A while ago my computer wouldn't turn on anymore at my 1.6Ghz clock speed so I had to put it back down to default at 1.33Ghz. Just recently my comp wouldn't turn on unless I unplugged the power to one of my hardrives. Also I checked the bios as well as SiS...

XgieroX, I'm eagerly awaiting Colin McRae Rally 3. I've played part one a long time ago and really liked it a lot. I'm also waiting on RalliSport Challenge to arrive. PreDatoR, I was debating on whether I should purchase it or not. I've tried out Grand Prix 4 and didn't like it very much. Sean, Midt...

Too bad a game like Tokyo Extreme Racer will never see the light of day on a PC. It would be so kewl. So hard to find a racing game for PC that gives you an adrenaline rush like TER. Pro Race Driver from Codemaster looks pretty decent. A racing game with a storyline. Can't wait til that comes out. H...

Are there any street racing games for PC ?
Are there any street racing games for the PC ? I really like playing games like Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 for PS2. Riding on the highway, taking turns where I wanted to, and racing whoever I wanted was really fun. If there aren't any street racing games than are there any games that let you race to earn...

Thanks for the info guys. I was gonna go with a Abit AT7 motherboard and have the 4 hd's on the 4 diffferent ide raid ports. So that they would all be master. If I did that I would get better performance that 2 hd's raided correct ? Then just setup my DVD drive and CD-RW drive on the 2 non raid port...

So how fast would 4 hd's in Stripe-0 mode be ?
From what I've read the Western Digital Special Edition 8MB Cache hard drives have outperformed some raid setups. So my question is, how fast would 4 WD 8MB hd's be compared to a single WD 8MB hd ?
Does raiding 4 hd's give a better performance boost than 2 hd's raided ? If so is it by a lot ?
