Hmm. You should check out the drive resource center at http://www.storagereview.com/ , they might have a record of your particular drive there. Or maybe try another drive benchmarking program. I wouldn't trust SiSoft Win2K support 100% at this time. Good luck.

Heard this program works good.

Windows2000 comes with DirectX 7 installed. Not totally sure what the problem is but I had a bunch of lockups in HL and tweaked the config.cfg file and it stopped. Maybe also try setting the desktop resolution and refresh rate to what you're using in the game. Hope that helps. Check out the guide at...

Hmm..well new OEM/Slot1 P3-750's are going for about $150.00US now.

I got the latest QR BIOS. It brings the multiplier to 9X or 9.5X. I'm using a PIII-800/100 in it with no problems.

I never liked the 5.xx series of Detonators because of some graphics issues in games. For now I use the 6.34 version, I also like the 6.47 as well. I tried the 6.49 but it seem to have problems with some DirectX games.
