Weekend specials. Two I saw were $9 sticks of 64MB PC100 and $23 sticks of Via compatible 256MB PC133 with IBM modules. For those that might not have seen this elsewhere, enjoy.

Jean, I will probably need several of the 56K modems and perhaps a vid card or two.

I can't keep good, used modems in my hands - too many thunderstorms and too few good surge protectors.

Greg, I think the only answer to your tape idea is to try it and see if any improvement is had. Couldn't hurt much other than possibly blowing the tape loose or off.
