I'm not really running any background apps that would likely interfere with my burner...just bare minimum...AV..firewall...lexmark software and sidewinder software for a game controller...and Pestpatrol. My m...

I did try uninstalling both drives, and windows re-installed them both...no changes. The cable is an 80 pin cable and both drives are set to master and slave according to their place on the cable. the bios correctly identifies both drives as does device manager...with one small exeption. It lists bo...

I have an Evga FX6800 128MB in perfect working condition...used about 5 months. When I built my new machine, I used all new parts...including an X800 pro, so this card has been sitting in a box for 3 months now...I might as well sell it to someone who can use it. 150$. I'll see if I can find the gam...

SATA.....quieter. ALOT quieter. Smaller connection wire size=better airflow in yer case. Seems somewhat faster than IDE. Not shockingly faster, but a little faster. At least mine does. The Hitachi 120GB I have in the new machine is much quieter and faster than the 80GB WesterDigital SE in the old ma...

If the guy down the street tells you to get stuffed...try sticking a metal hat pin through his coax. His "Dave-made" amplifier will turn into an 'ampli-fryer'.

You need 2 sticks to have it work in dual channel.....you ARE able to use 1 stick, but its like shooting yourself in the foot. I truth, memory has gone down so much lately (see Newegg.com) yo...

I'd be interested in knowing what type of memory he stuck in the Mobo?

I'm RMA-ing a Western Digital 40gig caviar SE. I've already replaced the drive, so I'll have an extra drive hanging around. It'll be brand new...when it gets here....not sure how long that'll take, or how fast you need it.
