Good choices....definitely good choices man. But have you thought of the Socket 754 A64? The 754 3000+ and maybe a cheapie board like the DFI UT or the Chaintech. Sure you don't get Dual Channel....or future upgrade capability, but you can really max these little buggers and get very good performanc...

SNDS [sudden northwood death syndrome] is very real unfortunately. :( I killed a 2.4C with too many
volts pumped through it. Started acting crazy, exhibiting wierd errors and basically not working.
