Re: Killing Floor 2 FREE on Epic

Thanks.

Lifeless Planet and The Escapists 2 were also free when I logged on to pick up Killing Floor 2.

Wrench

Wrench is currently in Early Access. To me, this looks fun. I'd like to see more games where you can virtually build something. If I had the knowledge and talent to make a game, I'd like to make a game where you work on cars but be very realistic. I'd include a swear button though. https://jalopnik....

Re: 2020 Camry SE

Congrats, very nice! Does it have fake vents? :) Of course it does. You can see them on the front and rear in the picture. I'm hard pressed to find many new cars that don't have them. I understand the design language and the need to break up the continuous bumpers but they could make them functiona...

2020 Camry SE

I finally pulled the trigger and got a Camry for my commute. I kept my Challenger R/T and decided to get something much easier on gas. I opted for the 2.5L which averages 39 HWY. I'd considered a Hybrid but the ROI doesn't pan out. I couldn't see paying $5K more for the hybrid. My math said I may sa...

Re: Sony’s Wearable Air Conditioner Is Finally Available

I think how well is will work will depend on the individual. It needs to make contact with your skin to be effective. They well shirts with a pocket to put the unit. You'd really need one that's tight enough to keep it touching you. Alternatively, I suppose you could slather on a bunch of CPU therma...

Re: thinking about phone carriers and making a change again .

I'd you change, you'll likely have to get new phones depending on the carrier. Verizon uses GSM. If your phones are unlocked, I think they will work on sprint or US Cellular. AT&T uses CDMA as does T Mobile. It's worth looking into. You may even get a better deal if you call and threaten to quit.

The ONLY thing that makes me iffy on Creative's products is their drivers.

Re: Car Design Trends That Need to Stop

I also agree 100%. My biggest bugbears are giant grills, anything shiny in the interior, and thicc A-pillars. The other item I wish he mentioned was bright white LED headlamps. Manufactures really need to choose a warmer color and scatter the light a bit more for better viability. My Challenger is a...

Re: Sentry Safe Cut in Half FAST!

Dont safes have some kind of time rating on them... how long it would take someone to break into it? Or could I be thinking of prison doors? Some place I went to that made I think prison equipment rates everything in time. Every year they have a huge pick nick and invite guards from all over to go ...

Re: Windows 10 printing breaks due to Microsoft June 2020 updates

A bit of an update: In another thread I mentioned that a network management utility I installed from MSI may have been causing issues. It called cFOSSpeed and I uninstalled it several months ago when I thought it was causing my issues. I happened to check my installed programs it was was back with t...

Re: Windows 10 printing breaks due to Microsoft June 2020 updates

I bought the GSkill for much the same reasons you did. It was the only 2 x 16GB RAM Microcenter had in stock that was on MSI's compatibility list. Unfortunately, Crucial doesn't have my motherboard listed. I ran their scanner just to see what came up. According to my MB manual (MSI Z390 Gaming Pro C...

Re: Windows 10 printing breaks due to Microsoft June 2020 updates

Just a thought, but check RAM timing in Bios and make sure it's not overclocked. My main rig was BSODing for a few months, but only when under heavy CPU load like transcoding videos. Just on a whim I went into bios to check for anything amiss and noticed my RAM was overclocked, and I'm certain I ne...

Re: Windows 10 printing breaks due to Microsoft June 2020 updates

I jinxed myself. After 3 months with no issues I got another BSOD. Same error as before. I wish I'd never built this system. All I was doing is falling asleep watching youtube.
