Re: Screen capture

In YouTube? Yes. When I contacted support they told me they were not longer supporting the Youtube downloader in their product, and they recommended downloading the Youtube Video Downloader, which does work, but I also have issues with AVC crashing on me sometimes when converting several files using...

Re: Screen capture

AVC has dropped support for their downloader. It doesn't work with YouTube anymore, so I switched to HD Video Converter Factory Pro.

Re: Screen capture

HD Video Converter Factory Pro, which I mainly use to download Youtube videos and transcode mkv videos to MP4, also has a screen capture and GIF maker feature. Never used the screen cap, but I have used the GIF maker a few times.

Counter Strike 2 FINALLY adds Arms Race (Gun Game) mode.

About f'ing time. This is the only mode I liked playing in CS:GO. Only two maps, unfortunately, so far. Maps look gorgeous. Gameplay is brutal, that or I'm just rusty. It IS immensely satisfying to sneak up on someone and taser them with the stun gun, though. :) https://www.gamespot.com/articles/cou...

Re: Spinrite 6.1 Alpha Release 8

That's going to have to wait for 7.0. He has to completely abandon DOS in order to access USB and M.2 via UEFI. Hopefully it won't take long as he's already written a lot of that code (it's part of the flash drive tester he wrote) and he wrote 6.1 with an eye towards migrating most of that code over...

Re: Ready or Not 25% off this week until Feb 12th on Steam

Played a few hours the other night. There's a few bugs, and a short bit of texture loading stutter (classic Unreal Engine) when entering a new map, or going back to the station, but runs fine for early access. I've only played solo so far. The friendly AI is actually very good. My squad saved my ass...

Exec: You may need to go to the default app setting in Windows settings.

Reno:
No: Doesn't make sense, it should just appear as a flash drive, unless a data pinmon the camera's USB is broken.

Re: Spinrite 6.1 Alpha Release 8

Release Candidate for 6.1 is available in both the DOS executable, like previous pre-release versions, and in the form of a Windows installer that makes a bootable USB. It still has an expiration date since it's a release candidate only: May 1, 2024 In all likelihood this is the final version, unles...

Ready or Not 25% off this week until Feb 12th on Steam

Los picked it up yesterday. I'm going to grab it today. This is the spiritual successor to SWAT 4. It can be played in a private lobby with as little as two people in coop. No friendly bots in coop. Also has a decent solo game as shown here, with bots you can command: Ready or Not Single Player is a...

The Retro Web archives old hardware and the drivers you need to make it happy again

Reputable site that was mentioned in a Boing Boing article. They're trying to build a database of info and drivers on old, legacy computer hardware. They have a lot of old mobos listed with drivers going back to Windows 3.1 in some cases. Good place to start looking for drivers for those of us who o...

Re: Insane new Lincoln 48-inch wide dashboard display

Granted, nothing is physically wired to anything anymore (a few manufacturers still make a low end interior package with real physical controls). It all goes through the cam bus, but usually the climate controls are a standalone unit, not going through the entertainment system logic. The other thing...
