Yeah I read that article. So I guess you can't be playing games like this unless you are in your teens:

This is why you just can't send a woman to Home Depot

While installing a new door, I found one of the hinges missing. I asked my wife if she would go to Home Depot to pick one up. She said she would. While waiting for the Manager to finish serving another customer, her eye caught two beautiful bathroom faucets - one for the sink and one for the bath tu...

Thanks for the link to the portable version. I'm going to uninstall the one I have and use this version.

https://www.pcworld.com/article/3294957/computers/price-war-now-several-120gb-ssds-are-selling-for-a-ludicrously-low-28.html/ When we saw Amazon selling 120GB Kingston A400 SSDs for $28 earlier this week, we shared the deal with you as quickly as possible. Re: CCleaner - fury over data collection

To be honest, I only use it about once or twice a year. I do have the portable version I got from the IT department at work. I use that more than at home, due to the issues with using IE with several internal programs at work. It does a better job of deleting all the temporary files.

CCleaner - fury over data collection

Seems like EVERYONE wants to collect some data from users. For CCleaner that I've used before, I really haven't updated my version in a long time. I'm currently using version 5.14.5493. Not sure when it was released, but the file date shows 1/15/2016. https://www.zdnet.com/article/cc-cleaner-provoke...

Another article about Steam: https://www.howtogeek.com/360177/what-t ... our-money/

After reading the article, I forgot that Valve has not put out a game since 2011. I guess they have a skeleton staff, but manages to make tons of money anyway.

Re: “My Wife Spent Three Days Trolling A Scammer”

I've only done it once, when I answered our home phone. I can tell right away due to their accent, it was someone from India. So I played along. After their initial speel, I introduced myself as Dick Weiner from the law offices of Weiner & Cox. I then proceeded to state that before we go any fur...

These Are the Websites Your Clean-Install Windows PC Connects to by Itself

In an effort to promote transparency (and, perhaps, dispel conspiracy theories), Microsoft released late last month a complete list of websites and services a Windows PC connects to after a clean install. Since the release of Windows 10, Microsoft has been accused of breaching privacy and connecting...

Great! Thanks for that. It would have been better if during the update, they offered you the option to revert back to the old list. I guess they are learning from MS.

Re: Windows 10 is free (sans personalization), and a Win7 or 8 license still activates Win10!

I have a Pro version setup in my Linux Mint laptop using VirtualBox. I did change some things: got rid of Cortana and deleted some tiles by installing them. I went in and delayed the updates. I'll see how it goes. I'm sure after a certain amount of time, it will go back to default.
