Re: First Man mini review

I heard a disappointing fact is they did not show the planting of the American flag, but was shown in the distance. Wonder if it was a political reason for it by the director? The reviews are so-so.

Microsoft Says They Can Recover Files Deleted by Windows 10 October 2018 Update Really? Do they have copies? If the OS deleted files it wasn't supposed to, then the OS overwrote the sectors with the new OS install; therefore, I doubt you can get your files back. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news...

Re: Software disenchantment

Yeah don't get me started on Office 365, and now at work, we have to deal with windows 10, and the IT department making bandaid fix for some 20 year old software that we use to edit and store our documents. I also have a copy of Office 2003 that works perfectly, but I also have Office 2007 and 2010....

Windows 8.1 and Classic Shell

That Asus notebook that I have a battery issue with, is running 8.1 with Classic Shell.

When booted, there is a lot of HD activity, and I"m guessing it has to do with the live tiles that are still there and active. Do you guys disable/uninstall them?
