Re: Glass (2019) - Official International Trailer UK

I saw Glass earlier today. I really liked it, probably up there now as #2/#3 or tied for #2 off all his movies. I liked it enough to redeem him a bit for those back to back duds.

Re: do you even shop at sears ?

Sears lost its relevancy many many years ago for me. It's not like a store that is conveniently close. If I need tools, why the hell would I drive all the way to a Sears, when I have at least 3 Home Depots, 2 Lowe's closer and 2-3 ACE hardware? If I bought clothes there, then again, there's any numb...

Re: Malwarebytes causing some Win7 PCs to freeze

Yikes, I have a client with probably 100+ desktops, many on Windows 7 running Malwarebytes. He's been hit a couple times with Emotet and another in the past few months. This would be icing on the cake if they start to freeze cause of Malwarebytes.

Re: Glass (2019) - Official International Trailer UK

dam, you missed on a cool thing about watching Split without knowing anything about it. Going in not knowing much was pretty neat at the end. I read a fun fact from an article where when he screened it for all the big wigs, they freaked out at the end saying, we can't keep that ending, Disney owns t...

Re: Firewalls recommendations for fast Inet connections

It would be nice if these "firewall appliances" for pfSense came in a rack mountable format. Tired of all these small boxes piling up on my rack's shelf. lol I see they sell their own but much more expensive. For that, I'd probably go with something else. LOL If you have a rack, then pick...

Re: anyone see anything decent for BF?

Finally got to use a $25 Macy's gift card my wife got at work on a Breville BOV845BSS that was down to $215. Shit destroys our old toaster oven. I started off with the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB for $128, then I snagged a 2TB Crucial MX500 for $208 (just using to store my daily desktop images) Desktop is 1...

Or for someone to swoop in and replace whomever is in charge of making the decisions on how QA testing is handled at Microsoft.

Re: Firewalls recommendations for fast Inet connections

I have a variation of this: https://www.amazon.com/Firewall-Appliance-Mikrotik-Security-Industrial/dp/B073F9GHKL/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1543369633&sr=8-13&keywords=4+NIC+port+mini+computer With pfSense installed. 1 port is for my normal switch/gear, and I setup another port as a DMZ fo...

Re: Firewalls recommendations for fast Inet connections

Do you want something pre-packaged, plug in, configure and good to go? Or are you ok with doing a bit more work? If you don't mind dealing with procuring hardware and installing, then take a look at pfSense https://www.pfsense.org or Untangle https://www.untangle.com. I run pfSense as a VM hosted on...
