This is what I want to do, put a 1Ghz Pentium3 slot1 100mhz FSB CPU(they do exist) in my old mainboard(Abit BX6 rev 2.0). Will my motherboard properly recognize the 1Ghz CPU? The only thing I'm concerned about is the 1Ghz CPU uses a 10x multiplier clock but my motherboard only goes up to 8x. I have ...

They do make 100mhz fsb 1Ghz pentium3 slot1 oem and retail. But they are hard to find.
