We have Vista on one of our work machines & that's the one that has locked up about once a day every day. That's before anyone got to surf the internet on it. Of course, it could be Compaq's fault.

I used to work for the post office through a subcontractor & they just plain don't care. None of them. They get paid their union dues & then go as slow as they can or friggen sit around as much as they can & wait for retirement. I'm not joking, it was like watching molassas flow. I also ...

At my old house, a train parked right behind us every day piled to the brim with coal. Considered many times pulling out a few bucket's worth.

Cool stuff, I already have a similar setup, but sure wish I had thought of it years ago. I get lazy most of the time though & just start things up with a screw driver & hope for the best.

Sadly, I'm the only person in my company that even knows that Internet Explorer isn't the only way to surf the web. I think I'm fine, not that I do anything that is questionable really.

Ditto what FlyingPenguin said. All things I've seen as well. Especially bad caps recently (including bad caps in power supplies).

Well, the reviews I've seen on UT3 were poor, mostly because they were Consolefied & because they took away some fan favorite game modes. As for Crysis, too many people couldn't barely play the demo. Also, alot of people were upset about the fact that their SLI rigs weren't taking advantage of t...

I never have that kind of luck. Always having to pay for my parts. Every once in a while a relative will offer me their old P133 with 14" monitor & think I'll get excited.

Damn, I still have a $75 gift card for there and none are near here and I forgot to bring it last time I went to Florida where this is one. Actually, I've already been through this, since they already closed ours. You have to call them up & tell them that you don't have a store near you anymore...

I'll kind of miss CompUSA, due to my absolute hate for Best Buy & Circuit City's limited selection. Not that I shopped there frequently, but there were times that I needed stuff fast & couldn't wait for newegg or someone to ship. Also, their rebates also always came in for me, every single o...

Glad to help. Yeah, if you can find a package, it would probably be best, because it is somewhat unlikely that Ford was nice enough to use a Clarion compatible cable (Ford is the bane of many an installer, always coming up with new ways to make it harder to install aftermarket gear).
