Basically, when downloading, every once in a while you're sending a packet to the server you're downloading from saying "yes, I got that, sent me more". When you fully tied up your upload bandwidth, it affected your downloads indirectly because confirmation signals weren't getting through ...

I don't like debit cards for security reasons. I use a credit card for online purchases and then just pay it off in full at the end of the month.

That's a hardware or driver issue unless the file the windows is using for desktop fonts is corrupt.

I can't see how a setting could cause that.

There's a patch that the publisher later released that updates the Creative Voodoo2 version of Incoming that came with the card to the full retail version that allows it to work with any card.

I have that patch if it helps.
