The shock wave in some of the Beirut clips is terrifying.
Look at the building as the shockwave advances. Hooooly shit.

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
I installed the card after swapping the AIO fans out and am testing it out. Just checked and no, it shows analog or digital output in the dropdown, so I do need the utility. The install is pretty barebones otherwise, so hopefully this util that I will use for 1 single function wont cause any issues....

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
Thats the card I have as well. I had to install the control panel because otherwise, how do you leave headphones connected, and swap output between headphones and speakers? I dont recall win10 showing them as discreet outputs, but I may be wrong.

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
Continuing the saga of the MB, turns out the latest Realtek drivers do not support the functionality I had before. It uses a new control panel type software, but the option to split rear and front outputs to 2 separate streams, so you could leave your headset and speakers plugged in 24/7 and just us...

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
Here you go. Just downloaded and ran crystalmark on defaults. Capture.PNG atto.PNG Also, I have found the MSI audio driver is garbage. it does not install the Realtek audio manager that I use all the time since I have my headset on the front ports and it makes it easy to switch around, and volume se...

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
Yeah, I knew I was going to be doing stuff that would use the cores, hence the AMD vs Intel choice.

Re: 2nd Gen Ryzen Kicks Much Ass
Welp, got the hardware in, got the system rebuilt. Did some testing. Blender and meshroom are taking less than 1/3 of the time to process/render. So 2-3 hour renders are running 45 minutes or less, depending. Quite pleased with that. MB is meh. There is nothing wrong with it, but it does not support...

I have a LCD I bought when I moved to GA, and it's still going after 12 years. Also have a cheapo plasma for the living room thats 7 years old and still looks fine, although it gets less usage normally
