Hey thanks for the link, but my son does not want to pay for a 64 meg card. I have a 32 meg card and that is what he wants to get. He has $100 to spend max, and no Dad (me) won't chip in to help him out.

Problem installing a new sound card

Hi guys, This is a very long and detailed description of a problem with a new sound card. I finally decided to upgrade my old trusty Sound Blaster AWE32 card that I've had forever. I currently have it running in an Abit BH6 motherboard using Win98. After posting a suggestion as to which new card to ...

I just saw it with my kids, and I thought it was very well done for a remake. I was really surprised by the ending though. At the end when he jumped into the small pod to take off, I thought he was going to cruise the shore line and see the statue of liberty, but after thinking about it, your right....

I'll take anything they give back, but I wish is was based on your taxable income as a percentage, not on a maximum cap amount. Mine is all going back ($600), because my wife and I owe almost $4000 for 2000. I'll never exercise another company stock option again because that is what killed us. The s...

Is Steven Speilberg the only one able to do it all when it comes to movies? The first movie, even though it was rated R, was a radical move with an excellent story line and special effects. This JP3 was dummed down to a PG-13 in order to attract more kids, because when I saw it, almost the entire th...

Thats of course if you can afford to pay your bill. My electric bill was $350 last month. We have since cut back on the use of AC unless the temperature outside is > 95°F.

Actually, I don't mind spending the $150, but I think each additional pc at home should run say $10 each for additional license? I agree. There is no way I'm going to spend that kind of money for another copy of the software to use at home. Also, with each new OS or Office version, the price goes up...

Here's another issue that's already cropped up as well. The serial and licensing info is in a file. If that file is corrupted you'll get a re-activation message (oh and can't you just see that file as a prime target for a virus designer?). Depending on the time elapsed since install that activation...

I slapped in a 256 meg stick of pc100, and it works fine in the BH6. I doubt I'll put any more into it, as I'm running Win98 and any more that 256 is a waste.

Splitfire,
The BH6 does not support 256 meg sticks (according to their site). The max memory is 384. How did you get yours to work with 256 meg sticks???

Abolsutely sick... and demented

Sick Bastard's Site What would compel someone to create a game mod based on Columbine? Not only does this mod lack taste, if the media catches wind of it this is just the type of push censorship supporters in the senate need to give that final push. Freedom of speech is great, but this just crosses...

I'm still running an Abit BH6 as well, so it's probably been 3 years??? I have a PIII600, but I'm planning on replacing it because of problems with the memory (not the sticks). I can only have 128 megs in the board, as adding another stick will cause random lock-ups. The sticks also have to be in sl...
