Holy crap. Look at those batteries at the bottom. Look at the labels on them. Those things got -hot-. How did they not catch on fire?

So with the adapters and GPIO header needed, it really comes out to $12-ish. Still not bad considering the potential.

Mainly companies with machines controlled by old PCs I would guess. Old CNC machines still use them. Some even require custom formats too. Exactly this. I have a stash of boxes of new floppy disks for some of the machines where I work. All of their programming still has to be loaded using CSV files...

My roommate and I got bored last weekend and decided to say 'screw it' and try Windows 10 again. We used the media creation tool to download 1511 and do clean installs with our Windows 7 keys. So far *knock on wood* haven't had any of the issues listed. Of course, don't seem to use any of the things...

My eyes are still firmly planted in my head, I think. Nothing there looks 'amazing' and blegh, Black Friday.

That's horseshit. There's no reason to run Windows 7 over Windows 8. I run Windows 8.1 and game on it without issues. Personal preference is a great reason to stick with Windows 7 over Windows 8 and it's ilk. Also the 'start menu' or whatever they call it now. I will concede that from a technical s...

750ti is a great card for the money. I ran one up until about a month ago and I upgraded to a 2GB 960. It's also a very good card, but I do wish I had the extra VRAM, but I picked it up on sale at Best Buy so what can you do. It was a very good upgrade to the 750ti in the game I am currently addicte...

I was using a local MVNO off of Sprint called Cleartalk, that let me port my old Verizon phone over when VZW tried to screw me over. But the coverage sucked so now I'm with Boost. Got a really good deal on phones when I switched, and I actually have data service everywhere I go. It's amazing.
