Think it's....
....good enough to get into a magazine? I'm on a roll with the printer-to-computer (Maximum PC, February 2005) and the printer-to-computer-deja-vu (PC Extremem, issue 26). I would love to get into CPU magazine..... :

How do you really feel about Thermaltake? I think they make some unique products. They are cheaper in quality than CoolerMaster, but they aren't the bottom of the barrel....

Let's not forget....
...the Thermaltake X-View electroluminscent panel. Get one of these kits for less than $20, cut it to the size you want, and make a unique backlight for a case badge or logo.

I haven't bought one...
....as the Athlon XP 2500+ is still my favorite CPU. It runs easily at 2.2GHz with a 200 MHz FSB on an nForce2 ultra 400 motherboard. If I move on to another CPU, it will be an Athlon 64 or 64 FX. The problem we all face is the cheap CPU's / motherboards are such good deals, and they do just about a...

Hey...
This thread is a classic. I think we need to see it on a yearly basis, if not sooner.

Use translucent molding...
If you go with translucent H molding, the EL wire will glow nicely. I did this with my Unreal case back in 2003. I recommend a dual-wire inverter, and of course, two EL wires (about 6 ft. each). If you get more inverters and wires, you can put different colors together under the edge of the molding....

I hate it when....
....good monitors go bad. We had a 19" KDC monitor get funky a couple of months ago - it would look washed out, like the brightness or contrast was at half their normal levels. Anyway, your problem is obviously serious, and you can probably forget about getting it fixed. Go get something decent...

Things to check....
I recommend checking the SCSI ID to make sure you aren't trying to use the same address for two devices. Also, make sure the SCSI bus is terminated.

Excellent!
Good job stuffing those components into that small area. It's hard to make a powerful computer (as in gaming machine and a decent videocard) with such tight tolerances, but he did a great job to make it a working computer for browsing the Internet.

You guys are too much...
....it just brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for taking notice. They contacted me in early December, asking for additional pictures. After taking about 100 of them (I'm not kidding), they were happy, I was happy, but I didn't want to start tooting my own horn until I saw it in print. You can bet I...

Hey Augi....
.....I've been going to the computer shows, but I haven't seen you there. My friend, you have missed so much in the printer-to-computer lifecycle. The original machine was blessed with a Sony G520 21" CRT to go with it's Geforce 6800 GT, and my new project now has two of those monitors (yeah, n...
