i had the SMC barricade for about 1 week and sent it back to buy.com. replaced it with the RT314 and haven't looked back. the netgear has been flawless and seems to be put together better also (the SMC was a tiny plastic thing...the RT314 is metal) :) it's worth the xtra $$$$. no dropped connections...

do you have ICS activated or is the system multi-homed?
