for what it's worth...
i have 3 systems running ME and it's been perfectly stable. everyone else seems to complain about it, but it's been good to me! the reason i use it over 98se is because 98se would constantly crash on me (ipf's and .dll errors in explorer, etc). winME made all that go away. can't hurt to try it if yo...

long start up
if your TCP/IP is configured for DHCP (but you don't have a DHCP server, etc) the boot time will take forever.

synchronizing in w2k?
doesn't Win2000 have replication just like NT? maybe you need to run 2000 server for it, but i'm sure it has the same functionality. i don't have it setup anywhere to check, but look into that. fixed
thanks, got it fixed.
i just needed to adjust the screen size on the desktop for each resolution. i didn't bother to do that and went straight to the 1600x1200, so all the others were messed up.
thanks again!

hmmmmmmmmm...
audiograbber might. it has options to "delete silence" and you can set the "leading" and "trailing" silence from 0.0s on up by 0.1s increments.
try it set to 0.0s and it should just make one continuous mp3?

no probs here
i just put together a duron 800 system for a friend today...used all his old stuff and just swapped in the new mobo (asus A7V) and the duron 800. the mobo allowed me to choose between PC100 or PC133, and i believe all KT133 chipsets will (correct me if i'm wrong). his PS is only 250W max...and it's ...
