Re: who had there covid shot / shots
Children's Hospital of Atlanta started administering Covid shots last week for teens (so Pfizer only) plus up to two care givers. We all just got our first shot yesterday. It was in the convention center where the city is also giving out shots to everyone else, they just can't pick which one. Let me...

Re: aftermarket seat cover craziness
dogs to keep them looking new. :) Ok, I knew there had to be more to the story. There's cheaper ways to accomplish protecting your seats that customize fitted seat covers. If your dogs at least stay in the back seat, then look at the quilted seat covers made specifically for protecting them from do...

Re: aftermarket seat cover craziness
It's new? why seat covers? I've only ever used seat covers on older cars when the seats had issues.

I'm still rocking my Humanscale Freedom chair. It's probably like 15-17 years old by now.

Re: cabinet shipping problem
That's a big reason I avoid and recommend people really consider the potential issues when it comes to those large cabinet makers that are in another state, which is what you see at all the big box stores and most kitchen designers use. Nothing worse than having something like a kitchen remodel dela...

Re: Changes to Last Pass
So when it comes to bitwarden, are they just like LastPass where your only option is to save it on their servers? No, you can either store it in the "cloud", they use Microsoft Azure. Or you can host Bitwarden locally on your own network. Keep in mind, their software is open source and au...

Turning off monitors is the only thing I have it turn off after like 10-15 mins

Re: Windows 10 20H2 screwed up my desktop
I don't recommend Sleepmode for desktops, especially Windows 10. Manufacturers pretty much only focus on laptops/tablets when it comes to sleepmode support.

One of my all time favorite movies. Can watch it today, 2021 and it still holds up.

Re: I got an email from StarLink saying the beta now extends to my area
That's tempting as well for me. I've been looking into having a backup connection at home for the whole house. Currently my backup is turning on the wifi on my desktop and tethering to my Verizon phone. It works, but it's just for my desktop. Verizon has a 5G home option that's like $50 a month. Whi...

Re: Changes to Last Pass
I'm good for now since I only use LP on my pc's and not on my phone; however, if they screw with it any more, I'll have to switch. I have to track so many passwords and secure info. Having to manage that all on just a phone is a pain in the ass. I love being able to work with my data in a desktop b...

Re: Changes to Last Pass
I believe so, but I don't use the mobile apps. It works for me, but to be honest it may not be the best option. I don't trust it (or anything) with things like bank and brokerage accounts - I never save those in anything but a secure encrypted text file and copy paste. Been talking about other opti...

Re: Super Bowl pick ?
I didn't bother watching this year. I'm to the point I can't stand all of the ads. I tried watching on CBSsports.com and was greeted with 3 ads. I closed the site. When I saw TB up 30-something to 9, I knew the game was over anyway. DVR + Wait 1-1.5 hours = Skip through unwanted content That's the ...

Re: ? - good, free anti-virus program?
I like the combination of Windows Defender with Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes always has specials going on. 1 device is $24 now, 5 devices is 60. It's not free, but not horrible pricing either.
