IT Brilliance

So this morning I start getting alerts about one of my client's servers being down. I develop software for them, so I'm on the IT alerts lists for any servers that my software is dependent on. While their IT department is looking into it, I start poking around and see that various systems are affect...

That's an attempt to get around their bans. He wanted people to share his "blog" posts on those platforms.

Re: Mobile banking

I've been using mobile banking on my phone also for years. I trust that most banks have very tight security. I also never save CC info on other sites as I don't trust them as I do with a known bank. I also don't surf very much on my phone. I guess I'm old can find it hard to move around web sites a...

Re: Mobile banking

I've been using mobile banking for as long as I can remember now. I hate going into banks. Like any computer, you have to be good about what you install on your phone and what websites you visit. Always enable 2FA, it's not perfect, but it's something. BoA and Chase have great apps. Regions is meh. ...

Re: vinyl replacement windows double pane glass

Yes, all over the country, vinyl windows are 3-6 months delayed. Vinyl supply chain got hit hard, just like everything else in the building industry. Demand on everything is through the roof and supply is either short due to the pandemic or short due to the massive demand. All that money that people...

I have several things on battery maintainers: Three vehicles, three zero turn mowers, and a couple of electric start generators. I use a mix of these two battery maintainers. I've been using them for several years with zero issues. Battery Tender Jr. https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-021-0123-J...

Re: today american performance cars

Up here I see mostly Mustangs and Challengers. Every once in a while I see a Camaro. Myself, I own a Mustang. Speaking of which, I need to find a good battery maintainer. I killed my previous batter for not maintaining it and I think I killed my new battery as well. I had a charger that had a mainte...

Re: who had there covid shot / shots

We got our 2nd Pfizer shot on Saturday. Same soreness as the first one, but feeling a bit under the weather, nothing horrible, but enough that I want to mostly lay in bed all day. Our teenage son's main complaint was a headache and the wife just had the soreness.

Re: who had there covid shot / shots

Children's Hospital of Atlanta started administering Covid shots last week for teens (so Pfizer only) plus up to two care givers. We all just got our first shot yesterday. It was in the convention center where the city is also giving out shots to everyone else, they just can't pick which one. Let me...

If your dogs at least stay in the back seat, then look at the quilted seat covers made specifically for protecting them from do...
