Re: Found a Teamviewer alternative

I have a Business Subscription, its $330/year (I've had it since they started subscriptions, so it's lower than what you can get now). I just tested it again, opened 3 connections from my desktop, no issue. The concurrent sessions limit is on the licensed user establishing the connection. If I tried...

Re: Found a Teamviewer alternative

That's what they want. It's one nurse who does the scoring for a sleep lab. She remotes into the scoring PC and two sleep lab PCs from a remote location during the day to score the results and backup the data. Sometimes she has two remote windows open at the same time. Not sure why she can't just l...

Re: Found a Teamviewer alternative

They tried Teamviewer but TV wants a huge chunk of money for an add-on package if you want to be able to run concurrent sessions (and they need to - it's a nurse that needs to remote in to 3 workstations and sometimes needs to work on 2 at the same time). I think they are confused. The concurrent s...

Re: Windows PCs can be hijacked through Notepad

A policy I follow for super users (IT, Developers, etc...) that require admin rights on their PC is for them to have 2 users. A regular user that they use the majority of the time and a super user that they can elevate to when needed. I prefix it with s-

Re: Jeffrey Epstein found dead in apparent suicide

Wow, what a conveniently put together list that happens to leave out all the people with really damaging info. Man, I wonder how they all escaped the deadly arm of the Clinton's. Lol, his Mother and Stepfather's chiropractor is listed haha. What damaging info did he happen to stumble upon?! I'm sure...

Really? They couldn't even keep a blow job hidden, you think they compromised a federal prison?

Re: amazons cutting shipping costs again

I had to get them all the details regarding the building, the hours, etc so they could update their DB and assured me that now they had that info, it should not happen again, as business addresses get priority. WOW! SMH That's complete bullshit. I can't believe a company as large as Amazon wouldn't...

Jeffrey Epstein found dead in apparent suicide

I'm just shocked...never saw that coming...

Let the conspiracies theories begin....though in this case, I'd lean towards them vs real suicide.

Re: how long is a to long vacation ?

If I'm in a single place, 1 weeks is about it before I start itching to go home. With the exception of Vegas, that's like 2-3 days tops because the number of hours up = about a week hehe. But, on road trip vacations, I can go longer due to not really being in one single place for too long. Our last ...

Re: Don't want your ISP (or the NSA) to see your DNS requests? Enable DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) in Firefox

I had to get rid of cloudflare on my phone. I kept having issues where nothing would resolve unless I restarted my phone. Eventually I tracked it down to cloudflare dns. As soon as I disabled it my issues went away.
