Re: Dentists get USB drive from American Dental Assn that contains malware
I was watching the news, and I guess the latest way to get people infected is to visit colleges and drop USB flash drives on the ground. Severance shows people picking them up and inserting them in their laptops without check them first. Yea, I saw the show Mr. Robot (which if anyone here is not wa...

Re: loose change ?
btw, you must have some bad luck if the coin star charged you when you converted it into a gift card. Most don't charge when getting a gift card. Try searching on their website next time to locate a no fee gift card machine. https://www.coinstar.com/giftcards#Partner11 Click a gift card and then you...

Thanks for the review. I'll probably need to get my wife a new phone in a few months and was hoping there was something better besides the Nexus 5X, not that I've had an issue with it, but I hate that I had to get the 32GB version just because they didn't support SD cards.

You know shit is fucked up when there are parts of the world where people have to pollinate by hand. I guess that opens up a market for pollinating drones.

Re: There Is Only One Reason Vapes, Hoverboards and Drones All Keep Exploding
yea that's the reason I stay clear of cheaper replacement batteries for my devices. I rather pay double and get it direct from the device vendor than risk some cheap crap off amazon. For things like laptops and cellphones I always buy a 2nd battery if possible when I buy the device. Sometimes they o...

I still can't over Will Smith being in it. Hope he doesn't detract me from enjoying the movie.

Re: Need security cam/DVR recommendation
Yeah but no computer here, and not worth the hassle of setting one up. I just want a simple turnkey system. Cameras hardwired to a DVR, and the DVR connected to the internet. Low maintenance, yea, I know there's some good ones out there, but they've usually been a lot more expensive than I wanted t...

Re: Need security cam/DVR recommendation
I do like the Foscams. I use one at home. Prefer more of a retail sort of security system for Dad's so it can be easily connected to a regular HDTV and with a built in HDD. Plug it into a UPS and forget it. Don't mind hard wiring since it will be easy to drill the holes. Not really sure what you me...

Re: Need security cam/DVR recommendation
Crap, I had a huge post that detailed my setup and it's gone :( Guess I'll just post the important details and leave out the story about how I got to this setup. IF you have a question on how and why, then ask. But basically, for camera's I bought several different brands to test except for the outd...

Re: Smoking Front Loading Washing Machine
I had to deal with my dryer last year when it got really loud, still worked, but it was really loud. As I was so busy with work, especially consulting, I didn't have time to look into it so I called someone. The guy came, told me exactly what was wrong (some plastic parts that had worn out) and flat...
