It does not. I have a unlocked pure version. Moto puts out security updates every 2 or so months. Remember Google sold them off a while ago.

Anyway, if you are not married to instant OS updates, the Moto X 2015 is a damn nice phone for very little money. I have been very happy with it over the last few months (bought it in March I think).

I think you have to have tethering enabled on your account. Not sure as my current phone is through my old work so I dont manage the account. I do know I just enable tethering when I need it.

I love watching the livestreams for these events. I missed the actual insertion as I was on my way home from the fireworks, but it's so damn impressive and inspiring when you consider the scale of distances and how fine a final insertion this was.
