Re: Police officer In Philippines killed by rooster while breaking up cockfight
I am actually surprised you wouldn't know this. Then again, I guess in Mexico cockfights along with bullfights were a thing when I was a kid.

Yeah, I held off on the 3080 to see what would happen. I doubt I will get lucky with the first round of cards but I'll go AMD this round, especially since i have been linuxing more these days. If the day I order bitcoin is especially high, I may just say fuck it and go for the 6900

Only major downside is the disk space it takes to add in googles photogrametry stuff. But for places that it exists, you can improve the look a LOT

Re: NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090
I wonder if AMD is gonna be able to compete with big navi. I think they have a announcement on the 9th, but it's gonna have to be pretty spectacular.

Maybe they got cocky since they have given Steam some trouble. But yeah, there is no way they are winning this fight.

Re: Any of you know of any discounts on Malwarebytes 5 pack?
I have a lifetime Malwarebytes license and it has moved machines twice with me, and I have upgraded to every version since I purchased with no issues, and it's been years since I purchased.

Looks good, as long as the driver exposes the inputs/outputs separately. I'll test it out, but so far the SB software has been behaving.

Re: MS Flight Simulator 4K gameplay trailer
Yeah, I expected some wonkyness, and I knew I was gonna get bit buying early, but I am ok with it. I cant imagine this doesn't get the most annoying bugs fixed pretty quickly, but meanwhile, it's still pretty as fuck. I did get some choppy fps when I was trying to find my house because the area has ...

Re: Fortnite vs Apple vs Google: a brief and very incomplete timeline
Think about the cynicism from Epic. They broke their terms of contract, and are playing the hero against the big mean Apple as if it was all a surprise. They had that 1984 add ready to go. They knew exactly what the optics of Apple's justifiable actions per contract violation would be and are playin...

Re: MS Flight Simulator 4K gameplay trailer
Ok. Game looks and sounds amazing. And it is buggy as fuckall. Did 4-5 training scenarios last night, and it had serious bugs in each one. Each training scenario focuses on a few core concepts, such as reading your instrument panel, or basic fly level, turn, use flaps/throttle, etc. So I had the ins...

Re: MS Flight Simulator 4K gameplay trailer
Welp, game is launch able now, but on first run it must grab it's main dataset, cause the install was like 500MB, and now I am staring at a loading bar probably being hit by a few thousand people and it aint moving.
*App crashed, restarted and now it's downloading it's 90GB dataset. Very slowly.
