Jedi Knight Academy and Gothic 2

Finished both games : Jedi Knight Academy : The game installs DX9 without asking you, the graphics are very good and another right step towards realism, the levels are huge and show again that Raven can take any engine and make it better each time. You have the light saber and some Force power right...

Arx Fatalis

Here I got LOTS of that creepy spine tingling feeling I crave for and quite a lot of jumping in my chair : Arx Fatalis is by far one of the best game's I've played all year, a looong first-person dungeon-crawler. Experiences like this don’t come along very often in first-person role playing games. I...

Finished NOLF 2

Excellent game. The models and animations are so life-like, they are a joy to see so the action and gameplay is very inmersive. The places and buildings are beautifully detailed. I would've used a little less comedy in just a few places (mime) and less comings and goings in a certain base but no dou...

Neverwinter Nights now is third person too !

There are two mods that frees the camera angle and zooming the same as they did with Dungeon Siege. - Athiril's patch file that is a mere 30KB, plus it can easily be uninstalled and doesn't require any backing up of your EXE (though it's always good to do that anyway). http://www.ans.com.au/~aquacas...

Dungeon siege in almost first person, here is how !!!

I don't know if you know this : At http://www.dsnetguide.com/siegelets/siegelets.php you can download a 338 Kb mod for Dungeon Siege, called FexFX-MODPackv2.00b.zip In the tiny zip there are 3 files. I chose to install "FexFX - MultiMOD v2.00b.dsres", just extract it to the Dungeon Siege &...

For the PSX use Epsxe -totally free-, save states = save anywhere, load anywhere, or Bleem (search for bleeem, yes, with 3 Es in the web if you have an Athlon, or search for lockless bleem if you have an Intel and forget about that crappy CDkey), for up to 1024x768 or better resolution, 32 bits, ant...

Wanna drill the heck out of my case !! Where is best for cooling ?

Dear abusers, I need to cool my case, as my CPU warms things a lot inside my case (cdroms come out too hot after playing them). So where in the case should I drill holes: I imagine it should be at the top of the sides, so hot air should "drain" up faster? Not on the top of the case so dust...

3DRealms SUCK goats

Don´t mention those egotist lamers to me ! Why couldn´t they release the Duke Nukem 3d engine like John Carmak does (arise all, hand to heart), so the users could develop killer accelerated versions a la Jdoom or ZdoomGL ?? All those miriads users levels unplayable, oh grief ... As to the Bitboys, I...
