Yeah, the Unraid was another consideration but I just don't want to build it myself. Normally I'd be all over it but it IS nice to have real tech support I can call and say "Hey! It's broke. Ship me another overnight!". LOL I just want to make sure I'm not missing out on any other brands ...

Any thoughts? No, I don't want to build a FreeNas box. I've already gone that route before and I want to keep things simple, as well as have support. ;) I've had an Unraid server for probably 6+ years and I've never really had any bad issues other than a cheap PSU dieing and the occasional drive dy...

Actually, some banks are swapping them out before they're expired. I've had all of mine swapped out despite having over 2 years on them still. Some banks even created completely new account numbers for my wife's card, instead of just changing the name, so you can track purchases better. Yes, I was ...

Kinda worthless to have a chip card that still has the magnetic strip. It really doesnt solve any issues until the magnetic strip is removed. Yea lets just switch from magnetic strip to chip from one day to the next. Lets see how that works out :) Right now what it's doing is simply shifting the li...

Install this tool and it removes the Win10 upgrade offer service and keeps it from being re-installed. I have it installed on all my PCs. Enable Monitor mode and it runs a small service that keeps a lookout for new attempts to restore the Win10 upgrader. GWX Control Panel: http://ultimateoutsider.c...

Not yet, but I'm looking forward to them. I believe The Expanse is an actual show and Childhood's End is a 3 part mini series.

My wife has a 2004 4Runner with 140K miles and that car is rock solid. The only repair we've done was a CV Joint. We keep up with the scheduled services on it. It does have a defective dashboard that has cracked all over which Toyota is in the process of replacing for that model, just waiting on it ...

Yeah, I've heard him sing a few times before and yea he's surprisingly good for not being a full time singer, well compared to everything else he does. He even has albums out.

Yea it's a great table for $99. I just wish the 32GB models were available cheap. I have a 32GB model with a cracked screen. I'm almost tempted to buy one of these just for the screen. A used replacement screen is like $99.

Just got my Nexus 5X activated. Wasn't too bad. Just went in to the Verizon store, we tested using one of their activated nano sim cards from a display phone and it worked. So the guy went to the back and brought me a new one and activated. A lot better than initial reports when the phone first came...

The whole industry is just one big scam trying to get you one way or another to spend another $500-$600 every 1 or 2 years (if you're lucky) on a new phone. I've stayed away from a new phone for a while, opting for used phones on EBay, plenty of suckers there selling their perfectly working phone ju...
