Got ripped off by Eric Rebers....PLEASE READ...

Ok,

I found this forum after searching for his name on Yahoo. He now uses the name Celltechnik on Ebay. I bought a Palm Tungsten T from him for $124.49 on February 5th. Paid via Paypal. Feb. 8th he sent me an email with my tracking # for UPS. Day came for delivery, and it never showed. UPS still shows information received, but no package. He claimed UPS forgot a skid in his warehouse. It would be shipped the next day ASAP. That was Feb. 13th. It is now Feb. 18th and still no info on UPS. Then after reading about him here, it seems like he is just a kid and lives with his parents and has no "warehouse".

I have continuously emailed him telling him I know the deal and all I want is my PDA. Today I found a phone number in CT and called it. The woman said she was his relative but wouldnt specify as to what she was. Said she would pass the info to his mother this morning at 8 am. Mother never called. I called the woman back and now she wont return the call either.

Do any of you know how I can reach his parents? I filed with EBAY and Paypal already, but I really need to contact his parents. The woman said he really did have the PDA's and such and not to worry that I wouldnt get ripped off. But now she wont even answer.

I need a number and you guys are my last hope. Please help if you can or tell me what I can do.

really your only recourse is with ebay or paypal.

There is very little the Trollhunters can do to help you. As pointed out above, you need to contact eBay and Paypal and hope they will help.

I did all that. He finally started moving once I threatened him with a lawyer and called his local PD.

Good luck with that punk rebers. Ebay has never bothered to reply back to us. Even when we tried pointing out confirmed crooks operating on egay. Proof and all. They only care about their bottom dollar.

Actually, once I threatened whoever I talked to on the phone with a lawsuit, a visit from the local PD, and then contacted PP and Ebay, he responded claiming his servers had been down. He sent the PDA overnite with a ton of freebies. I had also contacted other ebay members buying from him and they were on him as well threatening suits of the same sorts. So fortunately I have it now. But as a word to the wise, LEAVE HIM ALONE. He's a crook.
