Wanted to add on to one of those guys. This happened back in May, I have contacted the FBI, NY Police and the Web Police with no responses from any. Well a dectective did respond back in June but hasn't answered any emails I"ve sent him since. Not sure on the amount but it was right around $360 would have to go back and look at all my records.

First, check out his Heatware, notably my entry . Then, head on over to Anandtech and take a gander at his latest attempt at a For Sale thread (NOT the one he had up where I bought the Duron). It gets suspicious around halfway down page 2, and by page 5 Zach is scrambling for cover. The summary:
He sold me a Duron 1600 that he claimed to have run at 2.4GHz. I paid for the chip right away. I waited... and waited. Through a torrent of BS and lies, he took 48 days to actually ship a CPU to me. The CPU was DOA and he refused to refund even the $6 shipping cost.
Long story short, the CPU had been toasted by the previous owner (slight browning on the bottom of the package + total lack of operation), legal action was threatened and I got my $41 back. I was ready to drop it there and go home happy. Then came the apologies... and more lies. He claimed that he'd let a friend borrow the CPU and the friend somehow got ahold of his AT username and pass, his PayPal username and pass, and his AOL username and pass, then tried to sell the CPU for a quick buck. This was rather quickly disproven, and his credibility on AT was torched to a crisp. I doubt he'll be back there.
- He does not tell the truth, making up extraordinarily extravagant lies to try to cover his arse. This happened in private e-mail and on the AT forums, and his stories even blatantly contradict. These lies include family trouble, being in a car wreck, having an insane amount of schoolwork (come on, last semester I worked and went to school such that I had an hour between work and class every day five days a week. I still got all my stuff off within two days, or I notified the BUYER that it was going to be late, and why.)
- He doesn't respond to e-mails when his stories or his scammed cash is in jeopardy.
- He tries to point fingers at others when something is his fault. Shifting of the blame.
The chip was only $41. I can only imagine the pathetic stubbornness I would have gone through if I'd tried to purchase something else he had for sale, like his 9800 Pro. If you want a more in-depth explanation I'd be more than happy to type out a five-page Word document on the whole thing this weekend and e-mail it to anyone who wants it, along with the e-mail convo we had (if someone could please tell me how to save or forward entire GMail conversations, I'm all ears).
I'm registered on Futuremark.com, and that's the best way to get ahold of me. Send me a PM... or send mrmudcat a PM, as he helped me bring a 10-week crapflinging contest to a close.
