There are some alternative themes (styles), if the bright white default one doesn't grab you. There's a link to your profile in the upper right of the web page, and you can get to your user CP from there and change the Avatar (uploading of avatar images is enabled), signature, theme & preferences.

The theme or style is in User CP -> Board Preferences -> Edit Global Settings -> My Board Style

Your old password SHOULD work. Matter of fact, since the domain hasn't changed, if your browser has the password saved, it'll prompt to enter it for you. It did for me.

Just a heads up that my old password did not work. It might be because it was ridiculously complicated since it was a randomly generated super long password but can't be sure.

Either way was able to do a 'Forgot my password' reset and we're back up and running!

Sadly, that theme doesn't support PHPBB version 3.1.7.

I THINK any skin that supports 3.1.x should work, but none of the 3.0 themes I tried work. The BBS doesn't even recognize them.

Interestingly, if I try to have two images in my signature, it breaks the whole thing. It will display all the BBS code. If I remove the 2nd image, everything works. Is that a limitation?

There are some major engine changes under the hood between 3.0 and 3.1 hence why 3.0 skins dont work. That said, if the Animezone is to peoples liking, I can edit the CSS to make the colors match the old forum. Sometime this week I'll get it done. I also added a black/green skin that is a contender as well for a color change. I also like that one cause it supports a mobile theme.

Yeah, I do like that some of the themes (like all the Blacks) has mobile support. It DOES look nice on my phone.

OOOooo. That ColorizeIt.com site allows you to customize the colors on any of their themes using sliders. No CSS necessary. I'll have to play with that:

Ok, I think I have all the forum permissions setup. Some of them were lost in the conversion. If anyone's lost access to a forum they used to have access to, let me know.
