This happened once before, long ago and far away, when server was changed, I think.

It hasn't really bothered me until John's thread,,, and I don't think to check here each and every day ( especially right at the moment, as I'm visiting w/Mom for her birthday,, ).

,,,, now I'm lol-ing, as I won't get a notification when someone answers this!

I have noticed that it's a little broken. I'm not subscribed to any threads or forums, but for some reason I get a notification sometimes.

Try unsubscribing and re-subscribing to this thread. Maybe that will fix it. Double check your email too.

No,, no PCA emails from any of the threads I'm subscribed to.

I've unsubscribed and re-subscribed Only To This thread now, - so if you post again, I can let you know if it works, thank you : )

I DO receive emails from the board when I get PMs but that's also the only option I have turned on.

I just checked my notification settings and mine had email set to off for all but PMs. Maybe yours are off too? Might have been part of conversion to new BBS.

Go to user control panel, board preferences, edit notifications options. Make sure everything you want to be notified of has email check.

ok, I checked, FP, I had everything ticked for EM notifications that I wanted.
and p.s., I didn't get EM notification to this thread, or anything else.

Looks like by default a person is not subscribed to a thread. You'll need to click the wrench up top and choose to subscribe. You should then start receiving alerts. Try that.

PHPBB is rather notorious for email notification issues. I did a bit of research and changed one setting in the control panel that might help.

Is anyone getting thread subscription notifications? Going to subscribe to this one myself to see.

Yeah, I was gonna complain about the same thing. I never get any notifications despite my settings saying otherwise. I never think to manually subscribe to a thread.

Nope, as evidenced by the delay, it doesn't work for me either.
