Westerfield to get Death penalty

Post by dadx2mj »

Just heard a news flash the jury in San Diego has decided that the scum Westerfiled will get the death penalty for killing the little Vandamn girl. Now if they would just hurry up and throw the switch on the scum bag instead of letting him sit on death row for 10 years

I don't know... If he gets the chair or injection, it's quick and for the most part painless...

I'd really like to see him get a 'Jeffery Dalmer' death...

That made my day. Now if they would have just taken him straight to the chair. He'll milk the justice system for at least 10 years, unless Big Bubba decides to take care of him.

unless Big Bubba decides to take care of him

The problem is buba won't get a chance at him. They have to keep him safe so they put people like him in a special protective unit.

All they would have to do is put him in general population, he wouldn't live a week.

Yeah her in Ca they keep all death row inmates in isolation. They are locked down for 23 hrs a day and are given 1hr in an exercise area. I dont think most people realize how big a punishment the isolation is. Not that any punishment can be too harsh for someone who kills children

Sad part is its costing them what 1000 a day to keep the bastard alive. When you can buy a brick of 500 .22 shell for 10 bucks... and shoot him right between the eyes tomorrow...

I like the firing sqad, but with a twist:
Have it at a public place like a stadium. They could sell parking tickets, prefered seating for a price, and food and drink. Just think of all the revenue the government could collect to help pay for the cost of the trial. You could bring your young kids and tell them this is what will happen to you when you take a life.

I am all for an eye for an eye type of justice but making a public spectacle out of it and bringing your kids goes over the line in my eyes. I would like to think that we could eliminate scum like Westerfield but still remain somewhat civilized ourselves.
