2.65. I have the wagon... but it gets decent milage when its on the highway. I also have the sand rail and its street legal and i drive it any chace i get. Its only got a 5 Gallon tank (pony keg) so i can only get about 200 miles out of it.

No freakin' kidding. It is rediculous. Any threat of a threat in the middle east they raise the prices regardless.
Wasn't it last quarter (or maybe last of last year) the oil companies made record profits, yet our gas prices kept rising. Then we have bush saying "supply and demand". He's an oil man of course and protecting his buds. (sorry, don't mean to make this political)
Was 2.55 last week, now 2.67 is the cheapest. Keeps going up.

This is scary, but I think you are right. Just look at what went on in the 70's during the last "gas shortage" That is when you saw locking gas caps come out, as people were stealing gas right out of the cars parked on the street.when gas hits $6-8/gallon and people are being shot over tanks of it...just wait!

.....and grrrrr here too. I just filled up at $3.05 for premium ($2.89 reg)
. It's not even close to memorial day yet so I hate to think what it'll be by summer this year. My car's also sucking more fuel than usual too.
My cousin has a Hyundai and sure, it's a cheap POS BUT it gets 37 mpg.

Thats understandable. I was mostly referring to the soccer moms and the ford expeditions. Although there not AS common as a year or 2 ago.
