hehe...i remember when i first heard digitized voices from my C64...freaked me out and i thought it was the best thing EVER.

I've gone from the PC speaker in 1987 to the AdLib, SoundBlaster 16, X-Fi Xtreme Music and now just the onboard RealTek.

I have to admit that I'm a bit spoiled in the audio area since I came in when Win95 was in full swing. Before that, most of my computer experience was through other people's computers. So, I pretty much expected CD quality music from all of my computers.
