XP Networking
I can't complain about XPs home networking as that part was easier than doing the same in Win98SE. If you're familiar to setting it up in Win2K, it's almost the same. My Linksys ethernet card with Win2K drivers upgraded to XP w/o problems on my older XP PC. I havent had to re-do drivers in that PC but driver issues are seemingly common for many other devices.

I think XP is definetly worth the upgrade over ME or windows 9x. if you dont upgrade to XP, you should atleast consider 2k, the stability is well worth it. but if you do make that upgrade, you will prolly have to play around with drivers. You would be in the same boat if you were upgrading to win2k.
