I'm only 17 now. I can't imagine bein' 40 and lookin' back on my youth. What will I have that I'll be proud of? pop music and fugly cars.... oh yay! :( the 80's and 90's are pretty pathetic. 80's sucked--the hair, music, everything! The early 90's were the same, later 90's (95+) to me, was the technology age. Computers started getting huge and all--so I guess that is where I stand.

Man, I grew up in the wrong time, take me to the 70's!

Hmmmm.... 17. When I was 17 I figured I'd be DEAD at 40. Only now do I realize that I'm only half way there.... :)

Hipnotic_Tranz, all that stuff doesn't matter in the scheme of things as the 70's didn't seem so special back when we were there, just looks better now from a historical point of view. One thing's for sure, you'll be in your 40s before you know what hit you, the next step is retirement, old age homes and death  (j/k)

At least these days the younger guys who like techno toys have far better technology than we did back then. I remember thinking how seemingly primative early 70s technology (especially) was then knowing that better things would come someday. I do miss the originality of late 60s, early 70s rock music however as those days are long gone.

Face facts...

we grew up in a golden age
(No internet was the only reason it wasn't perfecto) ;)

From not having to lock the doors to fantastic music
mind altering substances, great (inexpensive) cars AND gas
No ride programs ie DWI check-points
Sex without dying from the consequences
The list goes on and on..... ;) :p :D :cool : :chug :+ :> #@
