This is a very sad day.....I'm home right now with all my friends and my parents.
One of my friends saw the second plane hit the tower at school, he's pretty shooked up.
Another friend of mine works at a building next to the towers. Haven't heard from him yet.
My girlfriend's dad works in WTC. I didn't get in contact with my girldfriend but her brother was scared and crying.
My other friend was heading to work in NY when it happened. Luckily he was late today.
This is a very very sad day indeed. My heart goes out to everyone who was there and their families.
Turn my tv on to watch the news and what do i see ??? Palestinians celebrating....so f*cked up.....i'm spechless....

I am okay....I live in queens, so we did not get any of the ash or such. But all I can say is I am numb. I was watching the news footage, and wanted to puke. The sight of the towers falling down was something I will never forgetI guess most of the people in NY are still in shock, cause I dont feel anger right now, just numbness. I guess it just has not really sunk in. Right now the mayor and the govenor are on tv, and they both looklike they are going to cry. All that is left of those people, and the most prominant part of the NY skyline, is ashes.

I think the Palastinians need some fireworks for their celebration, what you all think? Maybe one or two Cruise missles should put on a good show!

Glad to hear you guys are ok. there are now reports comming in of witnesses saying they saw a plane coem clsoe the the Dome of the whitehouse Earlier this morning b4 the major stuff started going down. I hope we Dont waist any more Tax $$ on lebenon, palastine, or iserial presently. spend that $$ of fixing our stuff up, securing our nation, and holding them countries at bay because they have not taken enough action to help remove and prevent terrorist activities. What in the past 10 years...we have had that Boat blown up, that oklahoma city bombing, all the american embicies being attacked among other things. Like the bombing at the olimpics, all the intended and attempted bombings. this crap needs to stop and the countries harbering these terrorists need 2 be PUNISHED!

Totally unreal! It feels like a movie or something. I think it will take a while to sink in.
I saw that footage earlier but they stopped showing it. Probably a good idea because it was enraging. The brainwashing those leaders have done to their people, it's worse than the Nazis. They are actually celebrating the death of innocent people.
This is the worst event (hopefully) many of us will witness in our lives.
Our love and prayers go out to any that may have friends or relatives involved.

The Intelligence community really missed this one......., but due to Congressional budget cuts and increasing legal restraints, I don't think they should take all the blame for this. A few small terrorist cells can do a LOT of damage, as we've all just seen. America has been changed forever today, a sobering and scary wakeup to the ugliness of what a few people with nothing but hate for us can do. We can and will pull together to get through this. The animals responsible will be found and punished. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families who've lost loved ones, the pain and hurt must be tremendous for them. They'll be remembered.........

Jeez. What a precision attack. This must have taken years to put together! Once they get the black boxes from the reckage, we will know more on what happend in the cockpit of each plane. The last time I saw people scared was when the Cuban Missle Crissis was happening in 1963 (I was 8 years old at the time). In the next few months, we might turn on the radio to hear that we just finsihed attacking certain targets like Osama Ben Laden. He's an slimbag that was educated here in US, thus knows how our country works, and where the best targets would be.
