I like AT because of the sheer volume of hardware that moves thru on any given day.However, as the troll count increases I'm more inclined to hang out here more.Dealing with you guys I know my clients will get their hardware,get it fast and in good working order.

Man, that particular thread got closed before I could get my 2 cents in.
When I first saw the thread about compuwiz, I thought something happenned to Steve and people were donating. I didn't pay any attention to it.
Later on, I was wandering in the Off-Topic and read how over $2k were raised so I went ahead and read it. To my disbelief, the donations were to his 2 dogs. My jaw just dropped !!!!
This is when I went back and read the original post in the For Sale thread.
By then it was too late for me to add in anything.
I agree with Todd 100% except for the fact that I don't dislike Steve, I dislike his business/trading practices.
I mean common, you're(Steve) a freakin DEALER plain and simple.
His whole so called business was based on free advertising on these BBS and word of mouth.
I remembered when he blamed the failure for his business because he couldn't post on Anand anymore.
The nerve !!!!
I saw the bandwagon that people were on.....oh, lets donate just compuwiz is such a great trader......
Lets make 1 thing straight....Steve is not a TRADER, hes a DEALER.
What makes him so special apart from any of us ???
He sells all those stuff to people so he can make a PROFIT...plain and simple.
So he is so special because he tried to profit from all those people ???
Don't kid yourself.....hes in business to try and make a PROFIT.
I dislike people who tried to use these forum to profit.
These forums are for 99% of us to trade.....sure we make a profit.....here and there but making money is secondary to us.
Its just amzing to me over $2.5 K were donated to a couple of dogs....
H3ll....use you left-over paypal to donate to a good cause like Trollhunter or Heatware.
You guys remembered back in AGN when somebody's house burnt down and he and his family didn't have to place to stay and we got together and donated ???
Now thats a worth while cause..

I too laughed my ass off when I got the link to that thread and read it. simply rediculous(why didn't I think of that?!). j/k I was going to put in my two cents... but I didn't cause I figured being banned 10-15 times is enough for me. As another said, hell we all have our problems and some things need to be kept private. But no, he wants free moola from everyone then has the audacity to demand we all love him for taking others free money.

That was Dan at the old agn (forgot his last name) who had a hurricane destroy his home in SC. Great guy who was in dire need for sure. And yes, that situation is the kind others need to help out with. And we did.

Yeah no kidding. But "he's a nice guy too". duh Yes he can be, but is that a reason to pay his damn dogs medical bills? Heck I'll start being nicer too, maybe some will start giving to my Hawaiian vacation fund.
