I owned a '69 442 W-30 convert., dark brown with tan/gold top and interior, for several years in the early '70's.........still wish I had that car. Fast, comfortable, had A/C......sweet.

This thread gave me "the itch" so I've been looking around at autotrader and Ebay and I've seen many very nice, yet affordable cars and I'm watching a few too. Unfortunately they're all from other states, very far from here so that means costly delivery or I'm taking a flight and driving back on nasty, snow covered roads :( . Not sure what I'd do yet if I decided to bid on one and got it for a good price. Some guys say they'd store it until spring too but what if the guy's not honest and something happens while being stored? (probably not a good idea). Then, there's always the risk that the car's not what you saw, read about online and then what? I like seeing a car up close and in person first, but flying to to look before bidding (like at Ebay) would be very costly.
Well, it's fun to look at any rate.
