My latest favorite stupid thing California is doing: LA wants to tax satelites that pass over the city limits! I read it in an article in the Dallas Morning News last week. In an effort to raise tax revenues for the city of LA, some one has suggested that any and all satelites passing over within the city limits of Los Angeles be taxed for the time that they are over the city. Go figure how they plan to enforce that one.
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Go on an asinine power deregulation plan, don't build any new power plants for years and then wonder why energy is so expensive.

All right Ca may have more than it's share of idiots wanting to tax satalites and not build power plants and all, but it I have lived in many places and in my opinion few can compare to Ca it is a great place to live. I hope my saying this doesn't change anyones mind because the biggest problem I see here in Ca is that there is too many people. I just heard on the news that because of all the conservation and opening of new power plants that CA now has a surplus of power at least for now. So all you Ca haters flame away I am going to fire up the A/C so my place will be nice and cool when I get back from the beach.

Thats of course if you can afford to pay your bill. My electric bill was $350 last month. We have since cut back on the use of AC unless the temperature outside is > 95°F.

You cannot bathe two babies in the same tub at the same time.

You may not hunt moths under a street light.

It is illegal to cry on the witness stand.

Toads may not be licked.

It is a crime for dogs to mate within 500 yards of a church. Breaking this law is punishable by a fine of $500 and/or six months in prison.

Zoot suits are prohibited

You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows.

And the best of the lot is:

It is illegal for a man to beat his wife with a strap wider than 2 inches without her consent. :w hip

And here are some more good ones:

Giving or receiving oral sex is prohibited. (pardon the pun but this one sucks)

Molesting butterflies can result in a $500 fine

It is illegal to wipe one's car with used underwear.

And the one that matches the best one in my previous post for hilarity:

Persons classified as "ugly" may not walk down any street.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I can just see it. Some white trash broad who is 400 lbs overwieght, with a million moles, 2 teeth, unshaved legs and the rest of the ugly works gets pulled over and arrested by the cops. The charge? "I am sorry Ma'am but yer just too damn ugly."

ROTFLMAO!!!!
