Being an avid anime fan, I was really happy when I thought of this becoming real

Time/Warner announces they may approve a 24/7 Anime only Cable Channel if they get 10,000 signatures!! Sign the petition to Time Warner here!! Do it!! Use your REAL NAME on this petition, I mean really, this is something REAL for the anime community!! Support it whole heartedly! (besides if you use an alias and fake email yer signature will probably be removed). Lets show Time Warner what we want!!

Just as I suspected...

Big companies like AOL Time Warner do not make decisions on business ventures based upon petitions. Particularly online petitions.

So some chump got the last laugh at 6,000 people's expense...good for him. Thanks to Sam who checked the validity of this one.

Oh well, so much for the hope that we would get this.

Nuts, I expected as much. I was sure it was a hoax myself, but I saw it reported on so many anime sites I figure why not, maybe it would actually happen.

Seems like I've stirred up quite a bit of mockery on the board anywho

anyways cartoon network has been toying with making an ALL anime chanel...this was befor they announced boomerang.....so we can still hope for that one.
