Both towers have been hit.The second tower was hit live on TV while they were covering the first tower being hit.It looked like a 737 that hit the second tower a few minutes ago.

The second plane removes any doubt that this was an accident. This is clearly the act of terrorists.

The United States is the most powerful nation on the earth. We should use all the forces we have at our disposal to hunt down anybody who had anything to do with this. Moreover, I think the time has come for us to act pre-emptively and take out any potential terrorist groups, regardless of where they are.

Nations that may have harbored these people should be dealt with severely.

I assume it is another terrorist attack... The people working in and around the towers should be in our thoughts. This has to be a horrible time for them.

On the other hand:
So what is the big deal with the World Trade Center? I mean, it has been the target at least twice now. I understand there are thousands of people there, but is there any other reason?

I agree that the US should do something about these terrorist groups, but there are limitations to what we can do. The US has never been big on invading other countries, and I don't believe that we will start doing that any time soon. The CIA needs to get their ass in gear and get some assasinations done. 3-4 key people gone, and a lot of these problems might go away.

OMG now the Pentagon has apparently been attacked(or tried to be attacked)as well.This is just terrible.I am at a loss for words this is indeed a terrible day for America.

I don't think the Bush administration will even remotely stand for this.

I think its about time we fight fire with fire. I'm tired of seeing our great country get viscously attacked by these assholes and them getting away with it.

Well, the world trade center is GONE.

This is one of the most horrific days in American History.

What a totally shocking thing to see.

I am heart broken for the passangers and those people working in america who are suffering.

Incredible. Once we know who is responsible we need to make their country dissappear or at least hit them 10x worse. We must make an example of whoever is responsible. I'm leaning towards Irag.

Tragic and needless loss of life. And for what, revenge on something our government may have done that the terrists didn't like. Cowards, complete and total cowards to strike innocent people on purpose. Why not face to face eh. :|

i walked into the office this morning and got called to the tv -

abc says when full the world trade center has 20k people

they are talking about letting the schools out early here in wv because the kids are upset

just heard a report of a plance crash outside pittsburgh too

Found out the Plane that crashed in PA was in Somerset county.....about 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. I Live in Pittsburgh. I'm keeping an ear open and watching the TV to see if anything happens.

This is truly tragic. My prayers are with all those innocent lives lost. Whatever group/groups are responsible will surely pay. This is definately the stupidist thing they could do. I hope they don't hit Philly.
